Good morning my dear friends and welcome to Wednesday of the first week of lent Year B. We ask God to give us the grace to walk daily in the light of His Word. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Dear friends, are you making good use of this period of grace that God has given to us?
Luke 11:32
“On judgment day the men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation and condemn it, because when Jonah preached, they repented; and there is something greater than Jonah here.”
Dear friends, this verse encourages us to contemplate on the importance of repentance and responsiveness to God’s message. It underscores the necessity of heading God’s call for change and cautions against disregarding divine guidance. Ultimately, it urges us to reflect on God’s abundant grace and the need to embrace it urgently.
The psalmist would say; “Oh that today you would listen to his voice, harden not your heart…”
Let us pray;
Heavenly Father,
In your mercy, grant us the wisdom to heed your call for repentance and transformation. Help us embrace your divine revelation with open hearts, recognizing the surpassing greatness of your truth. May we respond to your guidance earnestly walking in your ways and experiencing the depth of your grace.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Lord be with you.
